A new journey to martial land begins – This time around – I find myself in the cradle of karate – south of Tokyo – in the Ryukyu Archipelago – in Okinawa. With its history and its geographical location, Okinawa has a Chinese heritage which has greatly influenced its traditions and of course karate.
