Bruno Bettelheim Ā (August 28, 1903 – March 13, 1990) was an Austrian-born self-educated Ā psychoanalyst Ā who spent the bulk of his academic career from 1944 to 1973, as a professor of psychology at the Ā University of Chicago Ā and director of the Ā Orthogenic School for Disturbed Children.[2][3]
He is perhaps best known for his essay Ā The Uses of Enchantment Ā (1976), which applied Freudian psychology to Ā fairy tales Ā and won the 1976 Ā National Book Critics Circle Award Ā for Criticism and the 1977 Ā National Book Award Ā in Ā category Contemporary Thought.[4][5]Bettelheim wrote a number of articles and books on psychology for more than 40 years and had an international reputation on such topics as Ā Sigmund Freud Ā and Ā emotionally disturbed Ā children.

Zerka Moreno, TEP, along with her late husband, J.L. Moreno, developed the theory and practice of psychodrama. Zerka has taught psychodrama worldwide for more than 30 years since J.L. Moreno’s death and is recognized as a leader in further realizing his vision. Zerka Ā T. Moreno is honorary president of the American Society of Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapy; president of the Moreno Workshops; and honorary member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Group Psychotherapy.
Zerka Ā is the author and co-editor of many books and articles in the field of group psychotherapy and internationally known as a teacher, therapist and lecturer.

Miriam Polster, Ph.D, is co-director of the Gestalt Training Center in San Diego, and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, University of California, San Diego. Along with her husband, Erving Polster, she is co-author of a book on Gestalt therapy. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Case Western Reserve University in 1967.

The author of more than 24 professional books, Dr. Rossi worked with Milton Erickson for eight years and co-authored three classic volumes on therapeutic hypnosis with him. Rossi has also edited four volumes of Erickson’s Collected Papers and four volumes of Erickson’s Seminars, Workshops and Lectures. He has been conducting research in the psychosocial genomics of ultradian rhythms and their relation to mind-body healing and psychotherapy for over three decades.
