Migraine is among the most common and disabling neurologic conditions, resulting in significant financial burden in the United States. The treatment of migraine has evolved in the last few years as seven new medications have come to market specific to the pathophysiology of migraine. During this round table session, we will explore the multitude of medication options to optimally manage migraine through complex patient cases.

Natalie graduated from Drake University with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completed a two-year Pharmaceutical Care Leadership residency at the University of Minnesota. During residency, she developed a new MTM practice at the MHealth Fairview Neurology Clinic, and her passion for and expertise in neurology has continued to grow. As a part of her practice, she is on the care team for an interprofessional headache clinic and she provides medication management for complex patients with migraine and other headache disorders. Natalie is passionate about patient empowerment and shared decision-making, and she enjoys supporting patients and caregivers on their journeys using health coaching strategies. Natalie is also a preceptor for APPE students at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy.
