Core training typically comprises mat based exercises, 50 forms of crunches, or planks until your face falls off. In truth, core training comprises a very deep well of intricately involved muscles, joints, systems, and positions. It could be said that everything from your ribs to your pelvis is the core, and any exercise that uses this area even distantly could be considered core training, and either setting you up for success or failure depending on how it’s trained.
