This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). The Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.
Dr. David Bryman, DO is board certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He is currently a federal employee working as an Emergency Physician in the VA Hospital in Prescott, Arizona. Dr. Bryman is certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine as an Obesity Medicine Specialist and the past president and Chairman of the Board of the Obesity Medicine Association. He is the past chair of the -State Medical Board Task Force designed to update and serve as a resource to state medical boards that have outdated anorectic guidelines. Dr. Bryman served on the American Board of Bariatric Medicine for seven years and was the chair of the Patient Chart Review Committee. He has reviewed patient records and office inspections on-site for candidates requesting board certification in Obesity Medicine in all 50 states. Dr. Bryman has acted as an expert witness in over 60 cases regarding anorectic medications, general malpractice cases, and state medical board complaints against physicians.
