The D’Arce lock is also known as the Brabo choke lock, this lock is named after its creator Joe D’Arce, 3rd dan Black Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu trained by Renzo Gracie. Since then, the D’Arce course has proven its effectiveness and has become a mandatory training move in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
