This session will improve your skills, maximize your monitoring capabilities, and optimize your patient outcomes. You will learn how to make the monitor work for you in identifying problems. The 3 primary focus areas of bedside monitoring identified in evidence-based standards will be covered including arrhythmia detection, ST segment monitoring and QT interval assessment. Case examples and strategies for monitoring practice will enhance your practice standards and allow for immediate and confident use in clinical practice.
