Stroke is a leading cause of disability in the U.S. Dr. Alphonse Ambrosia describes a cardiologist’s perspective on risks and causes of stroke.

Ambrosia, DO, FACC is an interventional cardiologist specializing in coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, stroke & carotid artery disease, coronary angiography & angioplasty, carotid angioplasty & stenting, TEE, PFO closure, renal artery angioplasty & stenting, and TAVI procedure. Board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, Dr. Ambrosia is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He received his osteopathic medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. Dr. Ambrosia practices with Cardiovascular Associates of Mesa in Mesa, Arizona. -My hope, as my patient, is that we will be able to bring you the most advanced coronary and cardiac interventional techniques, the most advanced technology in the hospital and office, in a setting that will be relaxed, and that will allow you to have all your concerns addressed.
