Dr. Meyers lecture on groin pain will focus on developing an accurate differential diagnosis for groin pain, and will lead the attendee through testing and treatment options. While groin pain is a common diagnosis, it is often times difficult to identify the root of the pain and at times, more difficult to treat.

Learning Objectives:

1. Perform a thorough physical exam
2. Develop a differential diagnosis
3. Order imaging modalities helpful in diagnosis
4. Direct a treatment plan

Accreditation:  

OPSC is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. OPSC designates this program for the a maximum of one (1) hour of AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and speciality credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Alexandra Myers, DO, MSH. is currently a Sports Medicine Fellow in San Diego. She attended WesternU/COMP and completed Family Practice residency at Downey Regional Medical Center.   Dr. Myers has a special interest in using OMT for athletes.
