The video is about the hand-to-hand combat system used in Europe about 600 years ago. The video is based on the manuscript of the medieval German master Sigmund Schining ein Ringeck (here is the original for those who want to check).
The so-called 12 fatal blows (Mortstöße) and wrestling techniques (Drei Ringen) are shown. In addition, several training exercises are shown. At the end, Pete Kautz explains how to make a self-training dummy and how to use it.
Much is quite similar to the Fairbairn / Applegate technique, which is not surprising. When you need a simple system for real combat, people re-invent the same bicycle over and over again.
In principle, much of what has been shown can be seen not only in the treatises of German masters of the 14-15th century. The Italian master of the same period, Fiore dei Liberi, has many similar, if not identical, techniques.
