PREFACE
In recent years, there has been an apparent wave of Feng Shui
Renaissance which has led to a newfound interest and respect for
the historic art and science of Classical Feng Shui.
Pay attention and you will notice that the dawn of this new
movement has opened up an era of accessibility to this traditional
practice. F-I-Y or Feng Shui-It Yourself methods are now commonly
available and everywhere. Feng Shui enthusiasts and amateurs are
venturing into this art.
As a master trainer, consultant and practitioner of this field, it gives
me great joy to see more and more people embracing methods and
applications to Feng Shui in ways that even I have never seen
before. It is very encouraging to see this escalating interest in Feng
Shui as well as its complimentary studies, Chinese Astrology, Qi
Men, Ji Ying and Face Reading taking off.
I had this book produced in response to the overwhelming demand
from the masses who are hungry for information and knowledge on
Feng Shui. This book is also perfect for those who, for reasons of
time or distance, are unable to attend my annual Feng Shui and
Astrology seminars. I truly hope that with this book, I am able to
provide an avenue of learning for them.
I would like you to treat this yearly publication as your trusty go-to
guidebook to foster a new layer of understanding on the Qi that will
influence properties in 2021. This book will equip you with the correct
know-how on how to effectively harness these energies in your
home and your workplace to your advantage. It will also help you
clarify and draw a comprehensive overview for the year based on the
Flying Stars chart and the Afflictions for 2021.
To make the most out of this book, utilize it in tandem with the
monthly Flying Stars outlook based on the Main Door and Bedroom
locations for all Twelve Months of 2021. You will also find that the
section on the Flying Stars for all 8 Houses for 2021 will present a
clean and solid foundation that will enable you to gain a more direct
and encompassing insight on how the Qi in 2021 will affect you, your
family and your work.
If youre unfamiliar with the methods of plotting a Flying Stars chart,
dont worry! All you need to do is go to the link, which you will find on
Page 12 to obtain your individual access code that will enable you to
generate your own results with the online Flying Stars calculator.
Those of you who are more familiar with Chinese Metaphysics
studies will already know that luck is divided into three parts – Man
Luck, Earth Luck and Heaven Luck – all collectively known as the
Cosmic Trinity. So dont be too concerned if negative stars are
present in your property because Feng Shui makes up just one
single component of the Cosmic Trinity. Keep in mind that any view
in Feng Shui is incomplete without taking into consideration the
proportion and the bigger context of the situations or structures. It is
important to note that the full impact of the stars must be viewed in
light of landforms in the surrounding area which are bound to trigger
or activate the stars energies, both positive and negative.
There is much to learn about landforms and if you would like to gain
more in-depth knowledge in this area, looking into my Feng Shui for
Homebuyers series will enable you to do simple assessments.
I always give this advice to all my clients that I hope will let them
perceive things in the bigger picture. Fear and paranoia can lead one
into a state of inaction so dont give in to these feelings as they can
make you incapable of accepting changes. Remember, in Chinese
Metaphysics, nothing is entirely bad or wholly good. There is a Yang
for every Yin, and a Yin for every Yang – thus worrying is essentially
useless. The key is to understand what Feng Shui influences are
and at the same time, prioritise your actions and make informed
decisions.
To conclude, I hope you find supportive, practical and informative
guidance in this book in your journey of adopting Feng Shui into your
life.
After the challenges of year 2020, may you have the courage and
tenacity to face the new one. That said, I wish you a smooth sailing
year ahead in the Year of the Metal Ox!
