First presented at the OPSO 2020 conference (9/18/2020) OPSO is pleased to offer this CME program on-demand. In this program Jennifer Fitzgerald, DO, discusses the various definitions and classifications of pneumonia, the criteria used to determine outpatient versus inpatient treatment and a general overview of treatment options.
The objectives for this course are:
- Review of different definitions/classifications of pneumonia
- Criteria to help make the determination of outpatient vs. inpatient treatment
- Review of treatment for pneumonia
Dr. Fitzgerald is a graduate of the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (COM-2014). She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon, WA. During her time in residency she worked with many students from PNWU. After training she returned to the Midwest to practice as a hospitalist at Advent Health Shawnee Mission. As part of her work she has been actively caring for COVID-19 patients and participating in the COVID-19 hospital team.
